Hydrogeologic Services

Environmental Site Assessments (Phase I and Phase II)

- Provides industry standard audit to evaluate environmental conditions;

- Identifies recognized environmental conditions and provides detailed recommendations and information to assess site options.

Underground Storage Tank (UST) Management:

- Coordinates and oversees removal;

- Conducts site assessments to comply with applicable regulations and evaluate environmental conditions.

Water Supply Protection

- Evaluates current water resource management and protection practices for municipal and private entities;

- Identifies new water sources.

Contaminated Site Cleanup/Brownfields

- Assesses contaminated sites;

- Prepares and implements plans to clean up sites in coordination with regulatory agencies;

- Facilitates the purchase/sale of properties that may have a stigma of contamination but have potential beneficial use.

Groundwater Monitoring

- Conducts monitoring of landfills and other sites to assure continuing compliance with groundwater management permits.

 

Wetlands Services

- Provides wetlands delineations and applications in accordance with state and federal (Clean Water Act) regulations.

Geologic Services

- Maps surficial deposits (e.g., sand and gravel resources) for state and federal agencies and landowners for resource assessment;

- Provides geotechnical services for utilities.

 

Richard M. Pendleton
Richard is a Professional Geologist licensed in the state of New Hampshire. He has been managing hydrogeologic, geologic and environmental investigations since 1987. His expertise in this field has been built through extensive experience with investigation and cleanup of contaminated sites and exploration for new water supplies,in New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts and Maine. A certified Underground Storage Tank Decommissioner, ASTM-trained in Phase I Site Assessments, and former consulting geologist with the state of New Hampshire, he earned a B.S. in Geoscience from Hobart College and an M.S. in Hydrology from the University of New Hampshire.
